Darryl Way

BIO
Darryl obtained his law degree from the University of Victoria and was called to the Bar in 2020 after completing his articles with Schmidt & Gilmour Tax Law LLP. Prior to attending law school, Darryl obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree and Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Alberta. While at law school, Darryl competed in the BC Law Schools Moot and completed co-op positions with three provincial ministries and BC Securities Commission.
Darryl has an abiding interest in tax. He has volunteered for the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program at Together Against Poverty Society, worked for the Canada Revenue Agency, and completed preparatory courses through the Chartered Professional Accountants Western School of Business following law school graduation.
In his spare time, Darryl enjoys spending time with his family and playing rugby.
